They are mentioned maybe once, in the Beat Happening chapter I believe. But I wouldn't call it an appearance.

There's a book about road stories from a lot of different bands like The Cult, Rocket from The Crypt, and also the Melvins. The story is great of course, but I forgot the title of this book.

Oh yeah, my friend had that. They're also mentioned in Route 666 the road to Nirvana or whatever it's called but Gina Arnold sucks.
