Okay, I think this is accurate.  Pieced together from knowing way-to-much grunge history and Melvins stuff:

Buzz: Smoked pot and cigarettes at the time the band first formed.  (1) (2)  No longer smokes cigarettes, don't know if he still smokes pot.
Dale: Smoked pot and cigarettes at the time the band first formed.  (1) (2)  Quit smoking cigarettes at some point in the early to mid 90's, and quit drinking alcohol, but still smoked cigars. (3)  Apparently smokes cigarettes again, don't know if he drinks or if he smokes pot currently. (4)
Jared: Apparently smokes cigarettes.  No hard evidence for anything else either way. (5)
Cody: Apparently does not smoke.  No hard evidence for anything else either way. (5)

Former Melvins:

Lori: According to reports has used drugs (fairly heavily according to some reports)  in some form, including, one assumes, pot.  Smoked cigarettes at least at the time that Bullhead was released. (6)
Matt Lukin: Smoked cigarettes, and I think still does.  Definitely smoked pot at some point. (7)
Mike Dillard: No idea.
Joe Preston: As far as I know, smokes pot and uses psychedelics.
Kevin Rutmanis: Fairly likely smokes pot, and reportedly used other drugs at least at some points.
Mark Deutrom: Definitely smokes cigars (3) (

Am I forgetting anyone?  Do I care?

(1) Kurt Cobain met with Dale to discuss the plans for the Fecal Matter project "in an outdoor smoking area."  The same book referred to Kurt bumming cigarettes off of Dale.  Later in the same book, they talk about Kurt, Dale and Buzz smoking cigarettes outside a party and talking about music.

(2) Buzz references the band smoking pot in the liner notes for Mangled Demos.

(3) Per an article/interview around the time of Stag, it was stated that at least at the time, neither Buzz nor Dale drank, but that Dale and Mark Deutrom smoked cigars.

4) Wasn't he married to the lead singer of Acid King for a while?  I think that probably says something.

5) I've only recently started to get into Big Business, so I really don't know that much about them.

6) I saw a set of photos that were from the same set as the one that was used for the interior picture of Bullhead.  In one of them, if I remember correctly, Lorax had a cigarette in her hand.

7) I remember an interview in which it was mentioned that at some point, everyone in TAD and everyone in Mudhoney were smoking pot together before a show.

Additionally, Mark Deutrom lights and smokes a cigar in the video for "Queen."
