I think they could do a cracking cover of this.

oh and pentagram

Black Sabbath-Hand of Doom!!!

The melvins were made to cover this song.
Is Ian back yet??

anaconda

Riven

Definitely these two:

King Crimson - Red
King Crimson - One More Red Nightmare (with lyrics)

I think it would be a perfect fit.  Has Buzz ever mentioned anything about his opinion of King Crimson?  I've always considered Melvins as kind of bigger, better, faster mid 70s Crimson.  I feel both bands have a similar "fuck you" mentality.

Oh and anything off of Fun House would be good too.

I am the Sun

george thorogood - I drink alone and Bad to the Bone. Release it as a 7" with a song on each side.

I would like to hear a split 7 inch where Melvins cover Would We Be Alive by nomeansno and nomeansno covers At The Stake .  I know its not really ironic and its not really that far of a stretch but I still think it would be cool.

I wish Alice Cooper and Tom Waits would apply the same concept and swap some songs.

I know there is a list, attributed to Buzz, of artists he would willingly collaborate with and that King Crimson was on it.  Maybe Jules or Glen can provide a link.
