The others were fine suggestions, so I made them into a haiku.  :nerd:

It was a big night out on the town for the Id and the Reptile Brain ...

like a brick wall, like a dream waiting to be!

i always thought Neurosis should cover this song, but Melvins/BB would nail:

I Don't Care Anymore [Phil Collins], yes strange but... it has a "dark" vibe from drums - lyrics.

i thought Neurosis because the keyboards & drums, but Melvins replacing the keys with David Stone feedback, just may work, we all know Dale & Cody can tackle the drumming.

well... while typing this i had another idea:

just do a Melvins / Neurosis split with:  I Don't Care Anymore & In The Air Tonight

Never liked Collins, I always felt these tracks are his best work & then we have the Genesis follow up 1991's [I Can't Dance], F*CK i can not stand that song, "joke / pun" or not, i could KILL just from hearing the openning before the vocals come in.

I don't know. You'd better ask our resident Dale Crover specialist, black stallion,
If Dale could handle Phil Collins' drum parts.

Check out Genesis-Abacab. Pretty righteous record.
My favorite Phil song from the cheesy 80's years was Easy Lover,
with Philip Bailey, the dude from Earth Wind & Fire on guest vocals.
That song cooks! I was rockin out to that in the grocery store.

They'd fucking annihilate this one.

That is so wrong, thinking of the Melvins covering anything Phil Collins [-X. Fuck that guy, & his songs. Props to Indian Handcrafts drummer for having a Phil Collins face on his bass drum head. Hilarious.
