They could do anything by Ramones...oh wait, they did one already.  #-o

Yeah, some Monks would rule, or more Fugs. It is suprising that Melvins haven't covered any Rolling Stones yet.

Have they done a Beatles song yet? Can't recall.

Yep. "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", fall '04 POTRE tour. I remember it really rocked.

I'm looking for a live cover they did of "I Get Around" by the Beach Boys, but they played it as "I Fuck Around".  Jared and Coady were playing that tour and it was around the time of Bride or Bulls+Bees.  I remember seeing a clip of it and haven't been able to find it again.

Brilliant story, Ian!   And what harm has Ian ever done to Fart that he deserves to be harrassed no matter what he writes, even when it's funny and brilliant as fuck? Digger > Nigger and an Fuck > Shut!

It's a pretty obvious pick as far as Devo songs go but I could picture our boys doing a great cover of "Girl U Want" if they haven't already done that.

Also, seeing Buzz get a decent chunk of screentime in FIX: The Ministry Movie made me wonder how a Melvins cover of a Ministry song would be. I could see them doing really well with one of their bigger metal songs like "Thieves" or "So What" or also to see them mutate a more left-field, non-heavy pick like "Every Day is Halloween" or "Work For Love".

Something from Twitch or Land Of Rape And Honey played in the style of some Electroretard remixes, that would rule.

I want to see Big Business opening for Melvins but playing only Melvins songs. Big Melvins would then play an hour of Big Business songs - during any part they didn't want to involve themselves with musically, Dale and Buzz could act out scenes from The Tempest or Moby Dick throughout the second set.

During the interval, Trevor Dunn and David Scott Stone would box each other in a boxing ring on stage while singing songs a cappella from Ozma.
