...not sure if that's to encourage ticket sales for the early show, but i can't imagine them kicking people out after the late show.

One week till the Sydney show...

And Ding Dong is usually open till very late so I imagine the "afterparty" would just be another night at Ding Dong only with more people.

I've decided I'm gonna rock up at the airport earlier on the 27th and see if I can jump on an earlier flight without paying the $80 for the flight change. This way I'll make it to Melbourne on time for the first show as well.

...the 400 capacity is the part that makes me wonder.

there was an afterparty after the last fantomas show at the palace, but if you didn't have a pass, you were promptly outed by security pretty soon after the show.

yeah i know it;s unlikely.
he was at the fantomas afterparty in 2005 though, but apparently he looked (was) bored to death since he doesn't drink.

I hadn't heard that. I was still hoping i'd be able to make the last train home after the show but if there's and afterparty then...... guess i'm going to find it hard to make it to work the next day.

the early show sold out pretty quickly after they added the info about the afterparty.
...i'm not holding my breath, but i hope they do stick around to chat- at least for a while.

i can't hook you up with one since i'm only going to the 2 melb. shows, but i can maybe hook you up with those if you don't already have them organised- and there is actually signed melb. posters available.

anyone have any idea what other merch could possibly be at these few shows?!?
i'm guessing not much i don't have already, but i'd hate there to be something i wasn't expecting and not have the cash on me

if i do manage to catch up with buzz, trevor or dale for a chat, i really don't want to be hasslng them to sign things for me so if there's signed posters in Melb, it will save me the hassle! 
...i would LOVE to get them to sign the live houdini for me though, and get trevor to sign my debs and cents as well, but he seems even more sketchy on fans than buzz! 
really don't want the covers to get fucked up during the nights events either, esp. if they didn't even end up getting signed!!!

I kind of think that there will be no merch at the ding dong. There wasn't last time. It would be good if there was though. Maybe i'll call them and ask when it gets closer to the day.

i'm guessing there'll be no new merch (as in 7"s, shirts etc.), but i'll be more than happy if they have signed posters that they've had at shows for the last few years.
remember it's been over 5yrs since they last played the ding dong, and i know there is a poster since i saw it in the poster thread
