Uncle Fester

the melvins did country, and that was awesome.
I think the melvins can do anything and it will sound good. remember bootlicker, honky, stag, pigs and etc... to say that the melvins doing something dub-esque is a stupid idea, then I guess its like saying everything they do is a stupid idea.
we all know dale can do kickass hip hop beats ( peeping tom) and big open drum beats like on lysol and on the song the bloat. and that makes a great starting point for a "dub" sound.

Bang on!

It's a superb idea and I hope they walk down the path of PHATT DUBWISE RIDDIMZ in the future. If they do the album would be immense and all the folk here dissing Dub would soon be yelling "FUCKING DEVASTATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" 8)

Then after they go all Dubwise on us they can release a kick ass vintage Ska album Melvins stylee!! I mean listen to this classic...

Skatalites "Guns Of Navarone"

Then think to yourself about that bonker trombone on "Bar X The Rocking M"..........AWWWW YEEEEEEEAH!!!

(PAUL)

I did a dub track, the second half features a familiar bass line.

I used to be Ministry Fiend.......but due to popular public forum demand after this thread I had to change my name.

Thanks for bringing this kick ass thread back to life my Dubbiddy breathren!

Hi glen.

Hi Farty.

Schnabster

I like Dub, the forumist-colleague, I like Ministry, I like Ministry Fiend AKA Dubbedi...., but I`m not quite sure yet if I like dub. Most of all, I like you all,
all of you, even that little tinye percentage that consists of Buick. I wanna thank Glen, Maarten, Anaconda......Even Fart!

John looks really happy there :D

The pic was in fact taken the day before he was murdered. I think he and Ono had lots of fun, and she isn`t lost behind a chair (a norwegian saying) musicwise either.
She was a blast, for excample, when she performed at the norwegian Oya Festival.

love your originality :D

I like underdogs. Also I like the fact Yoko pissed off over one billion people. Good on her!

FantomasSF

I think John has "Norwegian Wood" in that pic.
"He had to switch to gin cuz Jagermeister gave him the shakes"

That picture always struck me as really odd. Probably mostly the blank expression Yoko has on.
