Hey New Yorkers,

Is Penn Station easy to find and get to from the area that Webster Hall is located in?

EDIT

I think I found where it is.  7th street?  Is that the right one to catch Amtrak?

\

You got it all wrong. Webster Hall is on 11th street between 3rd and 4th aves. It is located between a pool hall and a movie theatre and the poor house. I know I live 2 blocks from there. The party after the show in the basement is pretty good. WH used to be a real cheasy place, its not bad now on occasion.

Penn Station is on 31-33 st and 7th avenue, its a long walk about 20 minutes. about a 10 $ cab ride each way, or you can take the 1 or 9 train to fourteenth then take the cross town buss to 3rd ave and walk the 3 blocks if on a budget.

I slept with faith, and found a corpse in my arms upon awakening, we danced and drank all night with doubt, and I found her a virgin in the Morning.

Yeah there are several ways you can do this. I would take the L train westbound to 8th Avenue. From there you can transfer to the northbound A train and get off at 34th street Penn Station. Google maps can give public transit directions too.

I found out what the dress code for Webster Hall is: No baggies, saggies, hoodies, tims, sneaks, or du rags. I don't know what half of that means. All I know is that I was wearing a shirt, jeans, and sneakers and none of the courteous bouncers said anything.

You can wear what you want to a concert. That dress policy is for the club times to keep thugs out.

I need to catch Amtrak to Boston.....But I find two Penn stations in NY......ackkkk....which one do I need?  Or should I just use the interwebs more?

There aren't two penn station NEW YORK.... The other Penn Station is NEWARK>>>>pay attention that is NEW JERSEY...a common mistake people make.

YOU WANT PENN NEW YORK NOT NEWARK!

It did exist.

Do you perhaps still have the first transcription he posted? Buzz said something like 'paving the streets with gold', something he also used in the liner notes for the Mangled Demos or one of the other reissues.
