last time i was there, two different guys were doing video.  the club is still a partly-owned live nation venue though, so you never know...

all they had last night in NYC was the houdini shirt & the poster, i believe

the show was awesome!  only got to see the houdini set because it was sold out.  paradise was packed!  it was cool seeing Trevor up there with them. 
was anyone filming?  and yeah, Walsby wasn't there...they just had the gig poster and a houdini shirt...now i'm off to newbury comics to buy manchild

I filmed it. Another dude did too. I think we were the only ones. They gave me holy hell trying to get my camera in but I raised my usual "The Melvins have always let me film them! Where's Tim Moss?!?" and then they relented.

Got a pretty decent audio with my Zoom H4 too. Look for a Dime torrent soon.

Setlist was amazing!

Opened with the mangled demos, the titles of which I'm not all familiar with. Just reviewing my 10" now... pretty sure it had: Forgotten Principles, Snake Appeal, If You Get Bored, Set Me Straight (full version), Matt Alec, I'm Dry (i think), I Don't Know (I think), The Real You, Run Around, and Keep Away From Me. Looks like all of them!

Then they went into the Buzz+Dale duo. Ballad of Dwight Frye, It's Shove, Let God Be Your Gardener, Black Bock (!!!), Oven, Suicide In Progress, and there was also a song I've never heard before, reminded me of My Generation, it was also probably a cover. Dale did most of the vox.

Then the entire Houdini album. So amazing to hear HAG ME and JOAN OF ARC live finally!

Then they ended with With Teeth and The Bit.

So amazing. 115 minutes of non-stop Melvins. My 13th show. So good.

The crowd was less assholish than I've seen in boston in a long time. The venue was good but the whole "Livenation" thing sucks.

Buzz chatted at the beginning and the end of the show, seemed upbeat. And at $30+ a ticket, who can blame him? I'm sure they banked.

No merch other than a t-shirt and signed poster. I think it was $35 total for the two but I didn't buy any.

Sorry I can't give a better review, but suffice to say it was "fucking AMAZING".

It was a fucking good show. I am so glad they played Lysol stuff live. Joan of Arc, Dwight Frye, It's Shoved were personal highlights. I saw a couple really fancy cameras, hope there are some real good pictures of the show. I wanted Trevor's cape so I could wear it to graduation.

The merch table was pretty sparse. Just shirts in large and XL when I went there after the show. I didn't get anything because I am little.

Also I agree Boston shows tend to full of yelling assholes. There was only one annoying girl in the front but she stopped when the Melvins came out.
