I'VE BEEN GOING TO DOWN SHOWS FOR SEVEN YEARS.  I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH CAMERAS OR SEEN ANYONE GET IN TROUBLE FOR THEM.  THERE'S VIDS ON YOUTUBE OF VIRTUALLY ALL THEIR SHOWS.  BUT IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER TO JUST ASSUME IT WAS A BAND'S FAULT YOU DIDN'T LIKE, CARRY ON.

I know for a fact it was.  Two different sources.  One close to the band, and one with the venue.  There isn't an ounce of assumption in my post.

I don`t think there`s anything wrong with the IQ on Down fans versus other, but there`s no doubt that the behaviour of the singer influences the behaviour of the crowd. "Everything is a allowed, cause our leader gives a total fuck and he`s stoned!". Melvins has a presence that dictates the crowd in another way, to be calmer and more observating, although their music is ten times more brutal that Downs.
