Lysol takes the lead, with HAT close on its heals.  That's about right I'd say.  I voted for HAT, but Lysol is truly epic and classic.

i just have always felt stonerwitch takes the cake. for me its like their "dark side of the moon" just perfect. mainly cuz at the stake is so epic. but im def. not saying houdini, lysol, or hat are any worse. i just have always love stonerwitch

Buzz has jokingly mentioned that his hardcore punk band name would be "Smash the State" but I'm not under the impression that the EP is a joke.  Either way I like it quite a bit, just like CoD.

I really can't pick one so I'm not voting.  I've probably listened to A Senile Animal or Nude with Boots the most so I might pick one of those if I had too.  The Maggot, Stag, HAT, and Lysol are all very close behind.  So I've narrowed it down to 6 albums.....this is why The Melvins rule.

the smash the state EP kicks ass, i LOVE haze's nasty tone, i like to think it brings out the best in buzz and dale. pigskin is another favorite here.

It would be a lot better if the tracks were seperated so I could skip through "Hung Bunny" and "Roman Bird Dog"...they are not bad songs, but I don't want to have to listen to them every single time I pop the cd in.
