Juan

Ipecac seems to be passing the buck here.

There will have to be a repress.

End of story.

I agree, it does sound like a repress would be the best idea; especially if they are all that way
What would a woman that fine want in a big, fat, nasty, greasy, fat, stank, bloated, cheesy-backed, 12-sandwich-eatin' bastard?

Turn around mister, and never trust a girl giving her donuts away for free.

I got mine and it is triple vinyl 3 different colors and came with the all the Grumpy's singles and the Live at Slim's 8 track.

ha ha.

Mine is supposed to arrive today, I hope it isn't badly warped, but this seems to be the norm.  I bet if there is a repressing you will find e-bay listings for the "Special Warped First Pressing Edition" for boo koo bucks
Oh Yeah!  I forgot to take my pills.....

I know how to un-warp a record.

Sandwiched between two pieces of glass in an oven or in the sun, but you still run the chance of wreggity wrecking it.

I think I would rather put it on my hard wood floor then put a stack of 25 + LP's on it then let it sit for a week or so.  You can get some results (not perfect)without the fear of melt.

Has anyone else gotten one in good shape?  My record is pretty flat.  The sleeve is all over the place though.  Boooooo Ipecac!

I got mine and like the others it is warped, and obviously to me it is due to the extra tight shrink wrapping job they gave these.  It plays fine however and I will probably just put a stack of LP's on it like I mentioned earlier.  I also think it sounds a bit more "vintage" than the CD and not just the normal vinyl vs. CD vintage.  It almost sounds like a different mastering job.  Probably isn't but the LP is much "warmer" than the CD in my opinion.

Hey folks.
We are very sorry to hear that there has been a manufacturing snafu of some sort and some of you that have purchased the Melvins "Nude With Boots" limited edition vinyl have gotten warped copies. We are trying to get to the bottom of this, in the meantime, if you have a severely warped copy please return it to the place you got it for a refund or exchange. We will know more Monday and will probably be doing a repress.

VERY sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for your patience and loyalty!

The sleeve is warped badly as if the pieces are glued together slightly off.  Since the record's okay I'll probably just hang on to it rather than return it.

Got mine today from CD Universe.  Yep, it's warped, playable but barely.  The quality of the cardboard is shit too. Very flimsy. A total rush job on this one.

When and if it gets repressed, I'll wait and check reviews/pics before buying it again. Some high quality stock cardboard is definitely needed.

All vinyl goes through a different mastering process than the CD...right?
