I read this the other day and started to respond but thought it was a waste of energy and time.  Now, after some fine JW red I am willing to fucking type this out.

no, but trying to intellectualize music or articulate it in a intellectual way is just a waste of time.

At the end of the day, music is supposed to represent a feeling. Associating that feeling with an idea dilutes the feeling.

Would you not agree that classical music is an intellectual form of music or is conducive for producing an intellectual environment? I associate classical music with intellect. I know a great many people that listen to classical music when wanting an environment to concentrate in order to work.
