Filth Pig was their best by a mile.

Al has done a brilliant job of running the bands name into the ground over the last 5yrs though......infact he is name completely away with the birds.

It's funny that the Melvins forum is the only place that I usually find unanimous love for Filth Pig.  I wonder if this is because it sounds more like The Melvins (even FP the song sounds a lot like Night Goat).  Conversely, has anyone else noticed how much Electric Flower sounds like Ministry.  The main riff sounds a lot like the riff to Burning Inside and the End sounds like the end of Thieves.

I would say that FP or Rape and Honey is my favorite depending on my mood.

Personally, I feel like Al can do whatever he wants w/the band.  He was there before Paul, and the Post-Paul stuff is infinitely better than Pre-Paul.

Mad Arab

It isn't a proper documentary unless Sabastian Bach is interviewed.

I think I got into Filth Pig before The Melvins but it's hard to say.  It's my favorite because I think it has their best songs.  I love the sphinctour dvd too.

As for Electric Flower sounding like Ministry.....I really don't hear that at all.  The only other song it sort of reminds me of is Second Coming by Alice Cooper if the first riff was sped up really fast.

With Sympathy & Twitch craps all over the post Paul stuff. Al is a complete joke now and he has turned Ministry into a complete joke.

Does anyone remember the final Ministry tour? HAHAHAHAHAHA

MINISTRY'S C U LA TOUR 30 YEARS OF MATERIAL IN A 3HR EXRAVAGANZA!!!!

What a joke that friggin was!!! What we got was 2hrs of the shitty Bush trilogy by a Ministry covers band then we got NWO, Just One Fix, Thieves and if we were lucky in some cities......So What. The encore was.......wait for it.........What A Wonderful World? What about friggin STIGMATA???!!! What about material from LORAH, Filth Pig, DSOTS or Animositisomina???!!!

Al can go and get fucked for turning one of my all-time fave bands into a complete and utter sonic poop.

By the way.....I'm not sure if you surfed Ministry forums.........but the majority of Ministry fans think Filth Pig was best.

No.  I was basing my statement on people I've encountered over the years.

Judging by lemmy's posts I don't think he likes anything. It makes you look like a hard ass to hate stuff I guess.

& even when uncleAl takes a sh!t it is a far more interesting thing than any of you haters

That was the last 3 Ministry albums.

To be fair I didn't mind Houses Of The Mole as some of it actually sounded like Ministry.

ya know, i just gotta stand up for uncleAl.  he's lived a life none of you here seem to be able to fathom and that you would turncoat so quickly because he leaves mothafuckers starving for more is a b!tchmove if you ask me and worthy of contempt.
someone should ask buzz & dale if they've ever experienced any "contempt for the fans"

also Al has done ALOT of drugs.  he shouldn't even be alive honestly.

so welcome to rock and roll you silly twats.  act like you fucking know.

just sayin'

Aww, no one understands poor Al.... puu-lease.
I understand.
I have an imaginary box and I put Al & Ministry in it....you know the box...it's got Janes Addiction,
Hole, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Marilyn Manson, NIN, White Zombie, etc.
The name on the box says " Lame ass short shelf life shit from 90's " but if you read it upside down it
says, " Strip club D.J. C.D.s "
