Residency sets sold out already.
Sucks.
I thought they were limiting them one per person. Heard some people got three at a time. Oh well.

Friend got there at 6:30 to get a copy for the both of us. Said there were already fifteen people behind him. That's an hour and a half before doors opened. By the time I got there two hours later---CD sets and BSM were gone.

It was cute watching a few people crowdsurf...I felt like it was 1993. aww...

amazing show...not a word from Buzz the whole night...clock in and clock out.

One thing though, did Buzz's voice sound different tonight? Maybe nursing a cold?

ZAPPAJOE

Great show.  Anybody who complains about this lineup is a fool.  They need to stand in front of Dale and Coady for 30 seconds and it would become painfully obvious.  The dual-drums are the real deal.

I thought the crowd was relatively mellow.  There were a few moments of slight insanity, but I've definitely been to rougher shows.

I think live this line-up is fine.......it's when they get in the studio that there's a problem with some fans.

I'm glad I got to see Houdini done with both Trevor Dunn and the Jared/Coady lineup. The power of the foursome is amazing, but there's something to be said for a trio also...

I'm bummed that the NY people aren't posting more about this show, perhaps waiting for tonight?

Eggnog/Lysol was one of the most amazing sets I've seen them play...

Pelican

The first set was the most brutal concert I've ever seen. I was in the balcony and just vibrated for the whole show. It was incredible. So heavy. So powerful. Buzz's guitar sounded unusually great I thought.

I've never seen a line like that to get in to a Melvins show, nor a line like that for the merch booth. It was insane.

Can't wait for tonight.

Exuma

facemelting awesomeness.  one of the loudest shows I've ever seen them play.

any recordings out there?

I must be a fool then because I hate the addition of Big Business. Having seen the Melvins as both a three and four piece, I prefer the former. Maybe it's the purist in me.

nyctaper listed both shows on their summer to-do list.  they usually take around a week to release their recordings.
