Unless they completely changed the music and re-recorded the songs with another bass player I don't think this is true.  Even if they did it is hardly the song they wrote with Mike anymore after those changes.  You could tell it was Mike's bass like you can tell Jared's by tone alone.  The songs I heard were up tempo too, but didn't sound like the Dead Kennedy's at all. Heavy and crushing.  It needs to come out soon.

when rokko and i interviewed the melvins the last time they have been in austria i asked buzz about this record ( i am a huge godheadsilo fan and would love to hear this record...). buzz told me that he has no oidea what kunka is doing, and he said that he has blown his brain (something like that). and that they have used one or more songs (i can't remember exactly) of the session with mike for the biafra record... and they (the melvins & kunka) have written the song together.
