I always thought there was too and it definitely does sound like guitar but i distinctly remember either Buzz or Dale saying there wasn't any. Just made to sound like it was guitar. Still, it may just have been a joke thrown out flippantly in the interview. Who honestly knows with those guys!

Honestly i know none of you guys believe me but it was 100% mentioned as such in the interview. No guitars on the ALBUM. Just made to sound like it. I remember that because in reading it i thought "WTF!!". Now, the interviewer might have got the wrong impression from Buzz and wrote it incorrectly or simply made that up entirely or Buzz was joking but that WAS how it was written regardless. Admittedly it seems kinda odd to manipulate gear to make it sound like guitar when you could just use a guitar though.

You're probably confusing this with the Mike & The Melvins album.
Buzz said there was no almost guitar on that one – mostly just three basses.

I think it was just simply a change. Everywhere is listing/showing the newer design now as the album. Im sure you'll receive the red and purple one like on the Bandcamp page. Still, i'd like to know why it was altered too however im not disappointed since i think this newer version works a little better than the earlier blue and red design. Funny to think that in time the first cover will be forgotten and future fans will have never seen it or think it is a fake.

I say, I'm hoping their snafu on vinyl production doesn't hinder my enjoyment Of sai CD and hats!
