I contemplated taking my wife, but then I remembered that I want to enjoy the show and not have the constant look of "Why the hell did you bring me to this?!".

My trusty concert sidekick, beerdestroyer, just started a new job and can't make this show so I will be going solo to this one.

My wife has seen the band 5 times over the last 23 years. That's about the totality of what I can tell you about bringing the female companion (who isn't a Melvins fan) to the show.
BTW, Melvins Facebook group is full to the gills with rabid female fans. This place? Not so much.
