I'm noticing a lot more of that lately with the Melvins. There will be a little part here and there that sounds like one of their older songs. It seemed to start with History of Bad Men being a revamped and expanded Night Goat for the 2000's. It's not necessarily a bad thing though. I mean if ur gonna rip somebody off it may as well be the best band ever and also helps if it's your own songs your borrowing from.

It wont change your good point at all, but History of bad men isn't ripping off night goat, it's the same riff as the man with the laughing hand is dead off crybaby.

Just listened to the full thing straight through for the first time on a nice breezy grey Sunday morning.  Love it.  If you even remotely like anything Melvins I don't understand how you can't like it.  Ran out to grab some tea and I'm gonna go back and have another listen after some cannibinizing.

I'm visiting my folks for a few days in Oregon. I got into town yesterday, and my mom had been in Seattle visiting her niece. My dad and I picked her up from the airport today, and she had the loser edition in hand. She picked it up from the Sub Pop store for me for my recent birthday. Pumped to get home  and finally listen to this beast.
