I haven't heard them yet and want to know which one was the best.

FartLips

Judy is mad.🤣

AlmightyRetard

Without doubt The Maggot. Really raw and powerful songs

bootlicker is the best partly coz its so unique for the melvins and also coz its just so good.

The maggot is pretty good - but there's nothing new there.

Bootlicker....it's much more of an accomplishment that the Maggot.

But the Maggot's really good too. No question.

What you should really be asking yourself is: "Do I want to rock and roll (the maggot), or do I want to trip out (the bootlicker)?"

They're just two completely different albums.

Get 'em both!

I can't believe no one has chosen The Crybaby yet. I listen to a few songs and apart from the Smells like Teen Spirit cover it's pretty good.

I'd say the Crybaby is my least favorite Melvins album.

divorced is one of my favorite melvins songs.

c'mon Ramblin' Man is fucking great

Allow me to clarify. Yes most of the songs on Crybaby are good, but the album in my opinion is totally bereft of the Melvins. Yes, they play on all of the songs, but can you tell? For this reason it is my least fave "Melvins" collaboration album.

G.I. Joe is my fave song from it and I would rather hear the has been teen idol Leif Garrett sing S.L.T.S. any day than to listen to that Foetus track.

wouldn't call it the worst.

I'd go with something like Prick just cause of the fact that it is unlistenable for the worst.

The Melvins have played their own music exclusively for so long that to hear how they play with others is refreshing. They have all kinds of musicians on the album, making the musical scheme broad. The scope of the album is impressive.

but it always comes down to opinions.
