There are too many good ones. I wanted to vote for LOVE and 5 Legged Dog, too, but they didn't fit. We all had to make some hard choices with the first twelve records or so.

Houdini has a lot of the classics of course, but as a record i find (A)SA to be a much more enjoyable complete listen.

Yeah, I think "Set Me Straight" didn't really belong, and "Spread Eagle Beagle" is an inappropriate closer. Hearing it with "Rocket Reducer" and "Deserted Cities" instead feels like a stronger set. I think we get plenty of weirdness and contrast on "Lizzy," "Hag Me," "Sky Pup," and "Copache."

I feel really petty dissecting a beloved and seminal album from 30 years ago, but they've revisited these parts fo the album on later releases.

I really like Houdini Live. Even though that itself is quite old now. But at the time i thought that album was so good that i wanted the band to put to similar live versions of about another 5 classic records!!
