I bought it off Amazon for five bucks. Like two days later the price rose to over fifty. My copy of Cunning Stunts by the Cows is worth a pretty penny.

(Oh, my name on slsk is ShastaClock. Hint.)
really? how much?  i got cunning stunts and sexy pee story on vinyl.
Judy is mad.🤣

This isn't a time for lectures!

This is one of the most entertaining threads I`ve read ever, with Beto getting in the ring with newbies. Totally hillarious and +karma for Beto, my favourite Brazilian!

One of their greatest rock jams in the classic power trio sense, only with Mark D could they pull it off so rocking and groovin', if you ask me.

I really like the song with the Bells and the Drums. Such a simple concept, but so satisfying.

i think its pick it n flick it that has the guitar noise over the steady drumbeat with buzz singing in a low volume voice.. anyways... yeah. thats a good song.

i cant hear Prick , is really horrible!!!

i don't see how anyone who really likes the melvins couldn't appreciate this album.

it's one of their most creative.

i read in an interview once that Buzz wanted to call this album "Kurt Cobain", and it was due to be released right around the time KC died. After he still wanted to call it that but was persuaded not to. Prick is as good a title as any, a rare instance of the Melvins being OBVIOUS. Too bad they didn't name it after Cobain, it would've sold a lot more copies on that fact alone and been an even BIGGER joke.

I've always seen this as an "ambient" album, certainly the Melvins at their experimental best. I'm a big fan of "noise", and Prick blows CoD out of the water, in my opinion.

There's plenty of MUSIC on here. "Punch the Lion"! "Larry"! "Rickets" is total drone rock!

and the last track... jeff? thomas?
