CD is pretty rad. Love the new versions. May get the factory version vinyl too. Was hoping to bundle it w/ Bad Mood Rising CD(got the vinyl day of release), but it's been sold out now for weeks. Had to resort to ebay to get BMR CD at basically the same price.  May come back in print says the Shoxop Oompa Loompa. Funny now how when you order a $5 cheapy CD, the shipping is a dollar more than the price of the disc.

Vinyl delayed, release date to be announced anytime soon now (via fb / insta).

This sunday art edition of houdini live 2005 (edition of 100) on shoxop though.

I'm not expecting the 2023 versions to be superior to their 1986 counterparts (which is impossible in a way), but I am thrilled that they return to that material! Hope some of it will find its way into their live set.

Also I am curious about the version of the 1986 session they used... there are two:
Feb 1st, 1986 - that's the one released on 8/10 Songs, with the bright sounding bass string and the somewhat distorted vocals
Feb 8th, 1986 - re-recording session, released on the 6 Songs 7"

26 Songs has both, but the Feb 8th tracks are vinyl sourced and sound rather crappy. Not getting my hopes up, but a straight-to-digital Version without the vinyl step would be awesome...

They used the Feb 1st, 1986 version with the false start, which means it's from 8/10 Songs, not the 6 Songs 7". I wonder if they don't have the master tapes for the Feb 8th recordings, since they were taken from vinyl for 26 songs, and the Gluey Porch Treatments Boner cassette, from what I hear. Maybe the original vinyl is the only source.
