i bet he did the messing of the voices, and a lot of help on spread eagle beagle, you know, whenever really weird stuff happens, it's probably lustmord.

What was one of my very favs on the regular album is one of my least favs on this live thing.

Its played too damn fast. They rush it, Dale doesnt get to do cool fills because its just too damn fast and kinda sloppy sounding. Everything else sounds really good

They actually 'rush' a lot of songs live. There aren't many bands who play like that, that I know of.

yeah but,  to me HAG ME is right on time.  slow as all jehu.   one of the few occasions where it isn't speeded up.
liste to Bloated Pope from the Nov. 5 show on vinny's goldmine. then pop in the studio version. its double time live, easy.

i like to hear different versions of songs, and if honey bucket needs to be sped up, i'm cool with that.
honey bucket is a wide-known song if you know melvins, atleast people who i know who know a little about the melvins know that song.

actually, honey bucket wasn't one of my faves off the original.

the white stripes (or jack white) play(s) the guitar differently each show they play, it's something really weird.
it's better than their actual recordings most of the time, and usually faster.

believe it or not, jack white and buzzo are similar in their styles, they aren't soloists, but make kick ass riffs.

Popularity = backlash, no matter how good the band is, unfortunately.
