I don't know, seems kind of odd to me. I'd prefer a whole new album, but I guess if these guys are going to re-record an old album, it will likely be played in a new way. I'm not super excited to hear this, but you can bet I'll buy it the first day it comes out anyway.


Now, what would be REALLY cool is if they re-recorded someone else's entire album. Melvins play "Wish You Were Here" or "Rubber Soul" or "Kill Em All" or "Daydream Nation" or even "Thriller". THAT would be cool.  Just my opinion.

That's a better choice than the other albums listed. I agree with the hippie jam band comment, though. An album of covers by a bunch of different bands could be great, although even that is a cheesy idea.

I didn't buy the last Jellvins album. I'll support the Melvins by buying a shirt next time they come to town but I'm not wasting my money on that Jello shit.
