Ha! Never seen that before with Dale. It felt pretty awkward for those 2 minutes or so when Buzz and Steven weren't sure what to do and just had to drag it out. Probably every musicians on stage nightmare!

I like the new "Bad Men" though it's hard not to compare to Jared's cathedral voice. But I think Steven is making it more California and I'm ok with that. The bass bit at the end is dope.

i like it too, obviously sounds a bit different than the Melvins/BB original version.  a thing i don't particularly appreciate instead, especially when performed at EVERY show, is this sketch/fight between Dale and Steven during The Bit intro. Ok, it's funny and all when you are not prepared to it, but it gets really annoying if you know it is going to happen every time at that certain point of the set. I think Steven added a lot of these prepared little sketches to the Melvins live sets , it's like watching a movie , probably Buzz loves that too

on a related note, i noticed Steven does this vocal intro on a History of Bad Man every time too, after tuning his bass he ALWAYS says that. and i could go on with many other examples

Steven made the live show so fucking goofy. It's good to see the band have fun but as a statement of intent it's horrible. I saw another clip from that show and at the end of Honey Bucket Steven just goes off on this ridiculous dance sounding bass bit complete with his funny step move. The crowd seem to love it but i wasn't into it. If i was in attendance i'm sure at that point i'd want to shout out "Steven, what the fuck are you doing?".
