The final video now makes me think there's going to be a Melvins & Spotlights album at some point!! That's the thing with this band, anyone they associate with ends up being woven, in some form, into the varied and chaotic Melvins recorded history somewhere.

Buzz should play that intro like he used to do in early days

So last night I noticed this Nirvana video went viral and the comments are hilarious.  Apparently Dale is a 'horrible' drummer.  I wonder if Ziegler's YouTube account is monetized?  Just kidding...

"This is not Nirvana. This is TedEdFred. OMG, that drummer is horrible."

"OMG!  That was the worst horrible noise that I've ever heard! And THAT was no drummer -just some stoner who somehow got his hands on a set of drums.
YIKES!"

For some reason a lot of people who dislike the band seem to zero in on the drumming as what sucks the most, second only to complaints about the vocals, and while I can understand Buzz's voice not being someone's cup of tea, you'd have to be deaf not to recognize how much goes into the drumming if you're even remotely into rock or metal. It's funny, several of the people I've heard bitch about the drumming in particular are drummers themselves and try to use that as their justification - "I know a lot about drumming!" - even though they're always barely old enough to drink, if even that old

About the "THAT'S NOT NIRVANA" thing, I remember when I was in high school some girls saw some pictures of them from when Chad Channing was their drummer, and were trying to argue amongst themselves and then with me that it wasn't actually Nirvana because Dave Grohl was always their drummer and they would know because they're huge Nirvana fans

I'll settle on a Melvins/Helms Alee collab in that case.
