One's authorized by the band (the red one), one isn't.  Sometimes the venue contacts someone to do a poster, and sometimes an artist just does one by hisself.

My girlfriend got me this after we had gone out for 6 months.  It's great because I love the Melvins, Jay Ryan (the printer), and I screen print myself!

I have it framed (in purple) hanging above my bed.

It would be tight if I made posters for the Melvins, but there are so many shops in Austin.  I'm seeing them on October 17 and thought a funny poster would be a fat, grubby toad with a Buzz-fro.  And just to shamelessly promote myself... www.myspace.com/kyles_art

Did she get it at the show?  I saw it on e-bay recently going for three times as much as what it costed at the show.
