Tool has never changed...

They just learnt how to make their songs longer than the songs on their previous album.

Exactly!

This might be blasphemy, but Buzz's singing hook's on Billy Fish reminded me of "tommorow" by Silverchair.

Doesnt any one call them BIG BELVINS anymore?

Buzz should move to bass and they should get a new guitar player.

They need more fresh blood.

whoa... now that would be something.. i never even though about that before.
who would play guitar though?
scott stone?  that would be goofy... especially if he started to play his get hustle style

anaconda

I joked about this before, but they could have Buzz and Dale both on guitar and
vocals together with the big biz guys holding down drums and bass. I only say this
becuse I'm greedy, I'd love to hear Altamont and Melvins styles both in the same
band. :o

I think Buzz is happier than ever with his guitar playing, but I can't deny that's an exciting proposal - Buzz is one bad ass bass ass.

Also, word on the street is that Al Cinseros has been jamming with Dale, right? Oooohhhh!!! :D

isn't buzz playing bass on June Bug?

And on In The Freakthose..., Sky Pup, maybe a bunch of other songs from Houdini, and on a song called 'Noise', it's on the Barbaraal 7", Mark D era. They did a bunch of shows of which the first set had Buzz on bass, and Mark D on guitar.

think this pic is from that era cuz he's playing mark's fender precision bass

No no no! Jared should play bass with massive distortion and Buzz should become the solo-bassist.  So they had a two bass players and no guitar player and the lineup would look like this:

Buzz: Vocals, lead bass
Jared: Rhytm bass
Dale: Drums
Coady: Drums

actually, Tom is the one who taught adam how to play guitar, and Buzz inspired adam to take it a little further.

Depending on where you read this its either adam taught tom or tom taught adam.
But they where in a band together called electric sheep.

dude thats stupid.
i think buzz should be kicked out and jared coady and dale should start a vocal trio.
lineup would look like this:
Buzz: Kicked out.
Dale-lead vocals
Jared-Rhythm Vocals
Coady-Backing Vocals.

They obviously are going to scrap using instruments and all start beatboxin.
