Sigh....

I've been A Melvins fan for 20+ years and I have NEVER downloaded a copy of their album before it was released.  I can wait until July (or whenever).

You have the patience of saint, then. I'll download this as soon as I can. I'll also be buying it as soon as I can. Since as long as I've been a fan of the Melvins (which isn't atually that long), I've bought all the albums the day they've come out.
This isn't a time for lectures!

Well, we'll always have "In the Air Tonight." Will that be your most enduring song?
You know, that song won't lie down. It just won't go away. I mean, there's a Mike Tyson moment associated with it now. It's just bizarre. I guess it has a bit of mystery, a lot of atmosphere, and the drums coming in, pinning people to the wall.

So was Trevor Dunn the only bassist on stage for this show?

Jaron

I know Danny Devito is a friend of Ipecac but, I'm wondering why HE helped to the commentary. It seems like Mike would be on there somewhere. Apparently and obviously he's too busy. I wonder if Danny Devito came out on stage and did a trumpet solo like on Throw Mama From the Train.

Yes he was.

David Scott Stone was there and I'm pretty sure he didn't play bass at any point. But.... I have destroyed a few brain cells since then!

Ohhh, that show! In that case I'm actually curious to their version of POTRE, it sounded really good on that tour, even Patton's contributions. Not like the original but he didn't totally ruin the experience.

Hopefully the DVD is longer than the older Melvins/Fantomas big band CD that came out a while back.  And hopefully they didn't cut like half the show this time.
