^yeah why not, if i go i'll probably go for a few weeks.
is alaska expensive to get by, get around?
Cleveland Rewind's the person to ask.

We have to assume the gig will be in August or September. We won't know the date until it's posted on the Melvins Facebook page. Have to start saving.....................

Uncle Fester

so after talking it over with the girl we have decided to just drive up to alaska and make it a BC/ YUKON/ ALASKA tour du madness.
I hope some more of you gents can make it out to this. I also hope they give us a few months to save up some money

I'm going to try. It's pretty doubtful, but I'm going to try.  Plane tickets are a bit steep right now.  I can't imagine what it costs from Europe.....

That would be awesome!

From England it's around

just checked plane tix , from Toronto it's gonna cost $2,900 for my son wife and myself to go, not including a place to stay and everything else
I got the shits real bad.

Idlehanz

It would be awesome.  It could also be a potential relationship ender :)

They do come and go, that's for sure.  But I'm in one that I don't want to see go :)  If I can make it happen, I'll be there.  This has everything to do with saving money for future endeavors.

Uncle Fester

tour du madness is impossible for me to accomplish due to work constraints...
I'm thinking of flying in from b.c.... POSSIBLY Washington if the flights much cheaper. I just got a huge bonus this month so that really helps...
plane tickets no problem really.. it's finding a place to stay.
As it stands right now, count me in.
anybody know of hostels in alaska?

(the) flutter nuts

Yeah i was just kidding , a good relationship really is a great thing!!! that was just a perfect opportunity to use that reference, which has a special meaning with me and my wife , Brodie and Rene in mall rats was almost like me and my wife when we first started dating (minus the whole getting fucked in a very uncomfortable place by some guy from fashionable male)

[Brodie picks up a controller and continues a paused video game]
Rene: What are you doing? You promised me breakfast.
Brodie: Breakfast, shmreakfast. Look at the score, for Christ's sake. It's only the second period and I'm up 12 to 2. Breakfasts come and go, Rene, but Hartford, "the Whale," they only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime.

ok back to Alaska

I got the shits real bad.

cleveland rewind

the show is at the bears tooth theater. its a great spot. it is a dollar theater deal. with older and independent movies. a higher end restaurant and a smaller pizza shop as well. its a part of Mooses Tooth which is a micro brewery in anchorage. some really good bear. i believe it will be a first tap which is the first wednesday of the month and the tap a new beer. i wish i could go so bad now.

Can't you just invite some strangers into your place of abode, lower the thermostat, listen to the album really loud with your eyes closed and save the money?  :)
NO!!!
