I'm actually surprised to hear so much bitching.  I'm just happy to get to see the Melvins again this year and I'll be giving Down a chance.  I've said it before......You cannot judge a band until you've seen them live.

The main reason it's upsetting is because shows are more fun if the whole audience is into it.  Even if the Downs fans do like it it's just not the same.

Oh well.  The Melvins are on tour for the 4th year in a row so I'm happy.

wow this thread got going fast. most of us melvins freaks that are gonna see this will probably actually like downs set. I gotta say there pretty good live. Down fans will proabably not like the melvins cuz its not hardcore enough. The von douche guy is a real douche. especially how he said down has more sucsess then melvins, well no shit fucker, all down fans are pantera fans, believe me, the people who love pantera fuckin beat their meat to phil and dime. I'm looking forward to this no matter what.  Personally I'd like to see the Melvins headline ( longer set ), but either way, I'm going.  I'll keep my ass out of the pit and have eyes in the back of my head, but I'll be there.

The tour will start in august and will be two months. I don't know the the dates or cities. I wish they would do a tour with zu or lightning bolt
