Melvins and Down to tour

Have any of you seen or watched an interview with Anselmo in the past year or so? He's a changed man. People change as they get older and become "more philosophical in the autumn years" and certainly that could be part of it, but I think a big part of it was Hurricane Katrina. As some of you may know, Anselmo was born and raised in New Orleans and it seems like Katrina drastically impacted his life, initially in a bad way but in the long run for the better. He's no longer the hyper-aggressive meathead fuckup that he was for so many years. Supposedly he even kicked heroin and alcohol, and only smokes weed nowadays.

The most recent Down album is pretty damn good too. Great band. Waaaaaay better than Pantera.

Down are starting a European tour next week, so they probably won't be going back so soon............I'm a gonna say US.
