Wow that looks like all kinds of suck. That's too bad because there are several awesome bands mixed in with many awful bands.

I wouldn't doubt them playing some headlining shows along the way though. Only makes sense that they would. Maybe the night before for you in Melbourne?

mopafeena

Yeah, i'll be going to any headlining shows they play also. I'm hoping that they actually bring Big Business this time so i finally get to see them live too.

True, there is only a small handful of bands on the soundwave bill that i'd want to see. Some just out of curiosity.

So Veara is playing at a festival with Primus and The Melvins?  If there was the slightest part of me that was the least bit agnostic it is forever gone.  There is officially no god.  Officially.

mopafeena

I've never heard of Veara. Are they rubbish?

QOTSA, Melvins, High On Fire and Primus!

Only seen one of them and always wanted to see Primus - definitely going.  8)

Saying they are rubbish is too kind.  I grew up with the guitarist and I know for a fact he is only concerned about the money and fame.  In the off chance that he actually reads this I'll leave it at that.

Mr Luck: every time you post I'm drawn to that monstrous avatar of yours. Every time I try not to look, but every time I do, and end up SCREAMING with laughter. My neighbours know I'm alone, and still they hear me, on and on it goes. When will it end?

fuck i hope they play their own shows- at least in melbourne!
...really, really don't want to go to a festival solely to see them and i haven't seen one other band i'm interested in seeing on the bill.
take care,

I'm actually curious to see what kind of crowd they pull at the festival.

I'm sure they'll do a Ding Dong show while in Melbourne. Hopefully with Big Biz in the support slot.

long way to come for a festival slot.
i say i can't, but i really mean i won't.

As long as I like funny avatars, never.  :P

Good to see them finally doing a decent Aussie tour with Big Business.  Sure I'd prefer a proper tour rather than a festival, but this will do.

There's a few good bands on the lineup - Primus, High On Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, Kylsea and Slayer are all enough to interest me.  I thought the lineup for this years Soundwave was better, but I'll still be at this one.  Sure there's plenty of shitty bands on the list, but who cares, just see the ones you like and ignore the ones you don't...
