What we got was 2hrs of the shitty Bush trilogy by a Ministry covers band
Wow. Never before has one musician had so much contempt for his fans. What an ass.

ya know, i just gotta stand up for uncleAl.  he's lived a life none of you here seem to be able to fathom and that you would turncoat so quickly because he leaves mothafuckers starving for more is a b!tchmove if you ask me and worthy of contempt.
someone should ask buzz & dale if they've ever experienced any "contempt for the fans"

also Al has done ALOT of drugs.  he shouldn't even be alive honestly.

so welcome to rock and roll you silly twats.  act like you fucking know.

just sayin'

I'm not really a turncoat, because I was never really a fan. I certainly wouldn't care to hear "more" from Ministry or Al. So you're wrong on both assumptions. I guess the only thing I truly don't fathom is how it's "rock and roll" to bait your fans with a farewell tour only to subject them -- after they've paid the entry fee, of course -- to a two-hour set by a band covering your own songs.

But hey, whatever, drugs rock n roll woo!

It was a complete joke on us.

Static-X dude on bass.
Al on vocals and twanged the guitar a few times on Just One Fix.
Nu-Metal nice guy with cowboy hat on guitar.
Tommy Victor on guitar.
And some dude on drums.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds hilarious to me.

Believe me it was.

Al had reduced Ministry to a second rate Nu-Metal band.

I'm pretty sure that last gag ended his career selling records. I imagine only the truly committed by the crap he releases nowadays.

Filth Pig is the best album because Rey Washem played on it.

One of the greatest drummer ever.

If you read Chris Connelly's autobiography (which is great, by the way), you see who was the brains behind Ministry when they were actually still any good.

Basically, the only credit Al deserves is for assembling a talented cohort to leech off, and perhaps for creating and cultivating a persona/image that gave the band mass appeal. Musically, it was all down to Barker, Connelly, Rieflin, etc. which is why Ministry sucked so hard once they had all gone.

Filth Pig did indeed rule. I prefer William Reflin on drums though. Rey is great though.

Not 100% true.

Al actually created a ton of brilliant riffs regardless of being a douche-tard.

Houses Of The Mole was actually quite a decent record.....infact some of it actually sounded like Ministry.

Barker's material since leaving has been horrible.

Connelly I haven't really paid much attention to although I did read the book which I took with a grain of salt. Definately a great read though.

Rieflin rules. He's on the new Swans record.....also good on him for joining REM a few years back as it's about time he made some money considering how talented he is.

Rio Grande Blood has a few decent moments on it......Last Sucker had about one good riff on it......and since "ending" Ministry the stuff he's released such as remixes and covers etc have been absolutely fucking horrible. Please stop that dude from making any more records!!!!
