perzo)))

i played this for the new bartender(who called buzz,"roger" osborne)and she loved it.the other bartender heard it and said he hated punk and that the melvins suck.she turned to him and said "well...the melvins aren't for pussies".

i told him he should keep listening to deftones&rage against the machine.
Again,a gorgeous tragedy approaches,in the wake of those thought contained. But sonic reverberations shake the very marrow of the fragile chamber of mans lifeforce, and again the minions quiver in fear,as daylight fails to come, and Melvins walk the battlefield, bored and hungry...

Listening to the original Version of Warhead, The melvins did a Really Really Damn good job.  :-k

i would have loved to hear buzz singing on that

Metalhead Cow

It'll be interesting to see if they do any of these songs live

Finally got around to listening to this and think it's pretty good.

The Bowie & Roxy Music songs were the standouts for mine, awesome and the Venom & Divine covers were great too.

Could do without the straight ahead punk stuff and the Black Betty cover, Spiderbait's version is far better than the Melvins one.

Honestly the Melvins & Jello should do a whole album of Roxy Music covers and with Rutmanis on bass!

I was surprised by the quality of this an enjoyable listening experience.

Now speaking of enjoyable experiences whatever happened to my thread on here about Buzz's vocals???

This stuff Gets stuck in yer head.

Am I the only one who likes the straight ahead punk?  Not nearly as good as most of their other covers but certainly good covers, they are.
Is Ian back yet??

I like it all  :) Frankly I don't think they've done a cover I don't like.
Hail, not fail.

Love the way they split the Cage cover into two halves: 2'16.5" each side. It gives it a whole new perspective.

Cage purists' would say that they've ruined a classic.

Splitting it into two equal parts actually satirises those fashionably solipsist, pseudo-liberal middle classes and their attitudes.
