I played the Bootlicker for a friend of mine (whose only heard the early years Melvins). She told me it was "fucking music". Looks like I have a mission now.

Oh, it definately is

i've never tried fucking to The Bootlicker, but i have cruised among deserted city streets with the windows rolled down at 3 a.m. to it. so that's what i think of whenever i pop that album in.

I've done the same in the past. Going home from work with The Bootlicker up as loud as I can get it is also a favourite of mine.

The last thing I'm thinking about is fucking when I listen to the Bootlicker.
I do think of Christmas though for several reasons. But it sounds more like their Christmas album then Eggnog. That is if either one was even meant to be "Christmas" album. Which I doubt.
You sink a my swan

Funny. This album was the first Melvins I got....on Christmas! So I think that too.

I'm hoping to hear some of the Boot live real soon.  If I don't, that's okay, cuz the guys don't disappoint.
As I live and experience life from the mind of a 5 year old, I think how painful it must be for others to have so much knowledge of how things really are at such an early age.  My innocence is bliss, but the lessons are hard learned.  Bootlicker seems to be written to the uncivilized worms on this earth.  I always thought the big bullys on the playground grew up to be "good and nice grown-ups".  Gee whiz what a myth.  I love the slow songs, the hypnotic, meditative, in your face and take me to another planeground songs!!!

Cody and Jared what an addition!  of the last 2, my fav is a senile animal, but I do love both. Plan on gettin' a copy of  big biz's latest as well
