I'm sure it was and that it has a copyright 2 years before May confirm it. I cannot remember where I knew this from but I'm sure the only other elements exist in The Fall also. Everything else was scrapped. Al re recorded the stuff though. Similar thing happened with the Tapeworm (Trent Maynard). Maynard used his bits in A Perfect Circle song and Charlie took his for the Underworld soundtrack.

Seriously. I love Atkins drumming on this track. It's just pummeling plus talk about a fucking super group!
This album was just what people like me needed at the time it came out. Of course WTMA and Fook with honorable mention.

It was a really good record. Thing that always annoyed me about it was that Trent and David only did 1 song each, yet were credited as part of the group. Albini played bass on a couple of tracks, and he got squat. Well he is listed as playing on those tracks, but he should be considered also as part of the group.

I thought anyone who appeared on their records was considered a member.
Shonen Knife-said "fuck it up, Pigface" into a microphone, they're members.
I remember Pigface and Damage Manual being two of my favorite bands, but

You may be right. I was just going off what's written in the inlay and pictures I always saw. I think there was only a couple that had David and Trent. Most didn't have them. The inlay for Gub says

I like Industrial music a lot. Anyway I picked up Hold it in Today on Vinyl and It's Great. My girl at the record store said she can't order it right now. I am thinking they are redoing the Sleeves so the track list is correct.

More likely another pressing with the first lot sold. I don't believe it was limited, but could be wrong on that. Or maybe stores were allotted a certain amount. Most online suppliers didn't get the Fantomas box. I don't believe Ipecac would alter the sleeves after it had been released. Seems like it was easier for them to just use the same art from the cd packs. Would have kept production cost down also. Remember this did get pushed back from its initial release date.

I finally snagged Hold It In on vinyl a few days back. The kind folk at Ipecac have enclosed a free MP3 coupon with the vinyl. I already have digital of the record so the first to pm me can have the coupon if they want it.

Wow, blabbermouth? They're still going. I remember looking up when the new Pantera record was going to be released back in the day. Man, I've been around a bit on the old 'net.

I suppose I'm voicing an unpopular opinion here, but I feel like this album, though by no means "bad" in any way at all, is mostly unnoteworthy. A couple of gnarly riffs, but mostly the continuation of this sorta circusy quality that Melvins albums have smacked of for a little while now. I suppose I'm waiting for them to drop an album heavy as a brick shithouse, and my expectations are getting in the way. With that bias aside, I still feel like this album is, at best, mediocre Melvins.

But, then again, I've never really been partial to the studio albums at all--and I imagine a handful of these songs would kill live.
