Holy fuck. I haven't listened to this in over a year and I am sitting back and taking a gooooooooood listen. This has to be one of the most underrated metal albums EVER. I challenge anyone to name a quirkier, heavier, and more complex metal record. OK, maybe not complex, but just punishing (not counting Meshuggah, of course). It is impossible to name a favorite Melvins release, but right now......at this moment....this is it.

Why doesn't it get more props?

All in all, though, this is unquestionably one of my all time favorite metal albums. Its just sooooo heavy.  I love that 2nd half of Amazon (the one called AMAZON).  Such a good riff, that bending followed by the chugging, just over and over and over...
