If I heard this album I'd say that it fucking rules!  I'd guess that it's heavier and more melodic than A Senile Animal.  The production is probably really damn good as well.  Real Fucking Nasty would probably sound the same as the Smash the State EP which is a bit odd.

Just downloaded it (definitely gonna buy it). Fucking WOW! Some of the heaviest stuff from the Melvins this decade, very drum oriented (a lot more complex and tight-knit than (A)SA), laced with awesome vocal harmonies and even some ambient quirkiness of the CoD/Prick persuasion.

btw, I'm waiting for the album to be officially released too. I'm one of those dinosaurs that actually likes to have the cover art to go with the music, I think it adds a little something to the experience.

i've listened to it twice now (because i'm a dirty bastard), and have since deleted it from my computer (out of guilt in all honesty, this is the first time i've ever listened to a melvins album before it's release, because i'm weak, and i don't feel good about it.). i don't want to "get into it" until i have the package in hand. i completely agree with having the art to go with it.to me the art is just as important as the music. i will now wait very impatiently until the release date.
