How can Glen not like Tool?!?

Jack Osborne likes Tool
"He enjoys heavy metal and his favourite bands include: Tool, Incubus, Faith No More, System of a Down, Tenacious D, Meshuggah, Rage Against the Machine, Slipknot, and Mudvayne."
And did Jack really sleep with paris?  I don't know.

actually, Tom is the one who taught adam how to play guitar, and Buzz inspired adam to take it a little further.

Depending on where you read this its either adam taught tom or tom taught adam.
But they where in a band together called electric sheep.

when they were in school together in chicago, IL they had that band, adam was the bass player for electric sheep, with Tom on guitar. it was during those times that Tom was teaching him guitar tricks & stuff, how to manipulate distortion.
Tom was probably playing guitar for years way before Adam even started playing bass.

more melvins tracks featuring adam:
toadi acceleratio
POTRE
pink bat
the anti-vermin seed (virus, not guitar)
colossus of destiny (virus, again?)
eye flys (COD live version)
divorced (also feat. danny & maynard... and justin?)

Could someone please tell me what is meant by "virus"?

As I understand it, Virus is a synthesizer model.

They are the voices at the end of the track on the recording, I believe Maynard's part is where he is saying the girls voice is like a toaster or something.

Mad Arab

I hear no Tool influence in the Melvins songs.

I go crazy hearing Melvins influence in tons of bands. Apart from the obvious, it might be an idea to start a thread with bands who heavily paid tribute to the Melvins. I don't mean rip offs, but obvious tributes. OK, work to do tomorrow :)

Mad Arab

I don't hear any Melvins influence in Tool songs either. Completely different sounds.
